                       Notice of Results - change of date

China Shoto plc (AIM:CHNS), a leading Chinese producer of industrial batteries
and power supply systems, today announces that the Company, will announce its
maiden results for the year ended 31 December 2005 on Wednesday 19 April 2006.
An analyst briefing will be held at 09:30 that same morning at the offices of
Abchurch Communications, 100 Cannon Street, London EC4N 6EU.

The Company has taken the decision to move the date of reporting it results back
by 24 hrs due to the Easter Monday Bank Holiday.  This new date of 19 April 2006
replaces the previously announced date of 18 April 2006 provided by the Company
in the pre-close statement issued on 2 March 2006.
