China Shoto is one of China's leading companies engaged in the design, development and manufacture of reserve power and motive lead-acid rechargeable batteries, together with a range of relating products including charger, power equipment and battery accessories.
The Group has leading market share in rechargeable lead-acid batteries, and is the largest producer of VRLA batteries in China, which are widely used in electric-powered bicycles. In addition, the Company is a leading provider of back-up batteries to the telecommunications sector.

Research projects include the improvement of existing products as well as the development of super-capacitors, lithium batteries and direct methanol fuel cells. China Shoto has over 90 patents registered in China.
